Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 is ready for race

Mercedes-Benz released a video of testing the racing model of the SLS AMG GT3 on Euro Speedway Lausitz in Eastern Germany.

The car is ready for competition in the European GT3 Championship FIA ...Competitive performance of the model Mercedes SLS AMG is wider for 50 mm and reaches 1,990 mm, providing enough space for the new wider wheels. As the rules require at FIA, V8 engine that moves this car in serial performance will not be modified.

Just to remind, it is a 6.2 liter engine that develops 571 horse power. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, takes only 3.8 seconds for the serial SLS AMG  and reaches a maximum speed of 317 km / h.

This car worth 334,000 euros (cost of race-model performance) was recorded during testing that began in August, and it is interesting that in 21:30 minute recording, the only sound heard is coming from this
silver car scary engine.

Otherwise, Mercedes-Benz announced that orders for SLS AMG GT3 are already received and that the first deliveries are expected in February 2011.
